Where are the conservatives?

Where are all of you?

Here is what a conservative looks like:

Conservatives.....

• Believe this country is great because of its people, not its government.

• Believe that the constitution, in its original intent, should limit the power of government and protect the rights of individuals.

• Believe in the declaration of independence, specifically, that we the people were given our rights by our creator, not by government, and that those rights can only remain secure by limiting government, at all levels.

• Believe in capitalism. Capitalism, without the interference of government, has proven itself to be the best economic system ever conceived, creating an economic boom that has lasted over 200 years in this country.

• Believe that God has given us talents and abilities that allow us to provide for ourselves and our futures, and that we are responsible to take care of ourselves, not ask the government to force others to hand over their hard earned money to provide for the lazy.

I am tired of true conservatives being the silent minority. I am tired of the republican party sliding left with each year that passes. Conservatism is what has made this country great for all of these years, and I would love to see our country shift gears and head back in a successful direction.

I plan to demonstrate how much freedom we have lost through current events and give my opinion on how they should be different. Please check back in and participate.
